This was mentioned in at least one of his catalogs in the last 5 years, and
again in St. Louis this past spring. May not be his EXACT words. But the
idea is right.
He doesn't seem to be mixing in the plicatas. But he's is crossing many of
the TB's to medians. Almost all of the medians in this years catalog have a
TB in the parentage.
Since I'm pulling this information from his catalog, it's all 5-7 years down
the road from what he's actually doing in the garden.
Make more crosses! If you don't cross them, you can't plant them!
