That makes two of us. I got a smoking new Dell recently and had to upgrade  
to AOL 9. I had been holding on to AOL 5 which had some dignity and a well  
designed interface. This improved version is a PITA. Aside from  inflicting more 
bells and whistles on me than is decent, it keeps screwing up my  email in odd 
ways and making me look like an idiot. 
 
Which is not an invitation for someone to pitch an Apple at me or suggest I  
get another ISP. I have several ISP, noen of which is worth much in the  great 
scheme of things, andI also have a decade's worth of archived  AOL 
correspondence here. 
 
In other words, I feel your pain.
