Linda,
I grow GYPSY GEENA, SCOTTISH REEL, WITH PANACHE and just got PHAROAH'S SPIRIT this year.
SCOTTISH REEL grows quite well here, it increases well and is fertile both ways. The seedlings I've seen from it were good quality, some with triple sockets and larger flower size in the rebloomer crosses. SR has never shown any tendency to rot.
GYPSY GEENA hasn't been here as long, but also seems to be rot resistant.
WITH PANACHE has bloomed regularly, but is a little slow to increase. It has never offered to rot, but was planted in an area that must have slightly better drainage than the area where the other two were planted. SR and GG were both grown in the area that I had the most rot losses and survived just fine. WP sets pods with ease here. The first seedlings we have from it should bloom this spring.
PHAROAH'S SPIRIT was planted in August here and has really struggled with rot. It certainly was not given ideal conditions though, the three plants had only been in the ground a few weeks when the sprinklers got left on for 24 hours on a 95 deg. day. (Good thing I heard the water running that next morning when I got up)
It does seem like making a similar cross with Immortality would give you some chances at regaining rebloom in with some interesting patterns.
