Some of this you just wish the media would keep to itself.
There is apparently some scientist with a catchbag of indicators calculating
the misery index of those confortable enough to be depressed about failed
New Year's resolutions and personal debt, as opposed to just trying to keep
alive. Besides, my observations lead me to think many folks are more blue in the
weeks before Christmas. Certainly that is when the pathological behavior
appears to come slithering out from under the rocks.
I don't feel depressed today, I feel fine, (cue James Brown) and I think you
should feel free to feel entirely excellent, too! We are right cold here,
and more on the way, and that is worrisome, but there are already signs of
spring in the hardiest plants, and seed catalogs are here.
<<After 10+ yrs of pollen daubing, I would feel more peppy if I had
<something> I felt was really worth introducing! That thought has me
looking over seedlings that should bloom next year, plus some hatching
now, and there <are> some possibilities ....
You are a pathfinder, as was Lloyd, and like Lloyd, it is going to take you
a while. People talk about hybridizing goals, and I suppose there has to be
some target to shoot at, or what's a Heaven for, but I do hope you will also
think in terms of an ongoing creative process, a constant state of Becoming as
I have said before, and not be frustrated by elusive goals.
It is wonderful to hear that you see some possibilites emerging. So long as
you have a seed to plant, there is always a possibility.
As Rosalie would say: rah rah rah.
