Betty,
I did a quick check on Blue J site since they have just a ruffle and lace
category.
I'm still a little confused as to what is really lacy and the difference
from ruffled.
But to me, I think lacy is like rounded pinking shears and ruffled is a
smoother edge.
Anyway, this is what I found from 2000 up-
Makes me want to look into this some more-but just don't have time right now
Our new club by-laws are due Wed. night and I'm nervous. Hope it all turns
out.
I think I've had someone from about every state help me. Wow, now just to
get them
voted in so we can get a bank account. The banks even require the sec. notes
that we
voted to use their banks plus a copy of bylaws that have been voted in.
Seems
Things have tightened since 9-11 as to opening accounts. It's like a catch
22,
knowing what to do first w starting a new club. I don't know if other clubs
had
this problem or not since 9-11.

Thanks for the answer Griff.? I'll make note of the irises you mention.?
Apparently I'm not keeping up with new irises as well as I thought.? Some of
those are unknown to me!?
For my part, I'm a fan of lace and have recently acquired some cultivars --

Saturday's a slow internet day, Betty, so maybe not too many will respond.
For my part, I'm a fan of lace and have recently acquired some cultivars --
RITZY (TB, Hager '04), SIGNAL RED (TB, D. Spoon, '06), PRIME POWER (TB,
Tasco, '05), and SOCIAL GRACES (TB, Keppel, '00) -- with which I hope to
augment the modest lace in one or two of my seedlings. -- Griff?
