Hi, Decadence grew beautifully for me until my husband died in 2008 and I was not able to weed or put on borer prevention. The entire bed of newer TB varieties almost all died. This year I had gardeners pull out the few remaining irises and plant them in a new bed. Unfortunately, the name tags were missing so I don't know whether Decadence was a survivor. It grows very poorly here in Alabama and I have been told that is grows poorly in Missouri. Is anyone else having trouble growing Decadence? Is anyone having great success growing Decadence? Here in Alabama Decadence falls apart in the Winter and nearly disappears. Then, in Spring it looks as if someone has planted iris seed that are just coming up. The rhizomes are small and the leaves are small. E.
