It seems to grow and prosper on the West Coast.

I've not been a judge for 3+ years so I didn't vote for it. Plus, I truly didn't vote for things I didn't grow well.

So, if so many people are having these problems with Decadence, why is it moving up the award ladder? Are there people out there that it grows like a weed for or are we voting for the beautiful flower, or the hybridizer, or the reputation, instead of for the entire plant? How many people casting a vote for this iris (or any other of the top winners) have point scored those
iris to find out if they are really good enough to win the big awards?
