Last Fall, I was ready to can all of the AIS because changes they made would not let me access the online check list without being an emember, another $15.00 per year, and I could not get a readable bulletin unless I also was a regular member of AIS. I decided to stay on as an emember to get access to the check list and forget about the bulletin. Tonight, when I accessed the bulletin through the emember web page I got a very pleasant surprise. There have been some much needed improvements in the online bulletin. Character size can be changed multipletimes with the scroll wheel and it does not jump around when being read. I got one page or two pages displayed as I desired and when I printed out a page it filled the whole page instead of printing like a newspaper column with itsy bitsy print. All in all I had a very pleasant time perusing an older bulletin. Three cheers to all who worked on the updates. I think emembership is now a plus and should be attractive to foreign members. And, it is cheaper than regular membership. I do not need a paper bulletin. I can print out the those parts of the AIS bulletin that interest me and get it in a readable form. However, if they start screwing around with the online check list and make it harder to get to by putting access to it on the AIS web page I think that will be the feather that broke the camel's back. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
