Don't know from personal experience, but almost all inheritance having to 
do with the sizes of things is quantitative (multiple genes, leading to a 
continuous range of variance, no dominant or recessive).

Anybody know, have time to post info on heredity of fat beards, such as 
in Tobacco Chew?

Is it a dominant or recessive trait?

Or one of those traits affected by a lot of things.
