What part does frost play in making the Siberians "look great" in the
spring? Does it help keep them dormant so they aren't caught by late frosts?

(struggling with a possessed keyboard. Thank goodness for warranties and
ANSI escape codes, ALT + 108 = "l", and ALT + 76 = "L". The letter "L" does
not work on my keyboard, but inserts itself at random when other letters
are typed! Hewlett Packard has promised a replacement under warranty in 3-5
working days.)
