I must admit to working on a very small scale and cannot now give details
of which pollen was used but the occasion(s) indicated that saving pollen
over from TB time to aril or SDB tiome was no great feat.
I prepare small boxes (smaller the better) gleaned from any available
source - mostly plastic, line with clean filter paper and add a few
grains of dessicant (pre-collected from a variety of sources.) Warm this
first in the oven to revitalise. Add the anthers after a brief drying on
the windowsill, wrap all in a plastic bag and place in a corner of the
domestic refrigerator.
