<< I have another quite different problem. My innominata, grown from seed,
are dying at the rate of one a month. They are about 8 inches high with
about 6-8 leaves and the leaves turn brown one after the other. When
one pulls a leaf it comes away easily from the base. Eventually, all
the leaves die off. I have added peat, kept damp but not wet, and
prayed a lot!
Any advice? >>
Ian, I empathize! Growing these irises inside is really a challenge.
Possible ways to correct the problem (problems), are use Gro Lux light, increa
se air circulation, and possible let them dry out more. I do hope you can
suceed! Clarence Mahan in VA
