I have been using computer printed laser labels printed from my deskjet
printer. I use rose marker labels with the faceplate that slides up the
label legs. After spraying the bare faceplates with Rustoleum spray and
allowing to dry thouroughly I mount the laser label; after which I spray
a clear coat of spray paint. The labels I made without adding the clear
coat over top have either weathered off of have become illegible. The
labels with the clearcoat look as good as the day they were placed
outside. Anyone else tried this?
