Re: Germination of Iris foetidissima

foetidissima comes up by itself all over my woodland garden if the seed
pods are not picked off.  Originally I grew it by germinating seeds just as
you describe.  Perhaps the seeds themselves were bad; little is known about
length of life in iris seeds, but many woodland plants have short-lived
seeds.

So far as I know, you do not have to be in AIS to join SIGNA.
