:So far as I know, you do not have to be in AIS to join SIGNA.
Correction: You DO have to be an AIS member to join SIGNA. This is a
requirement for all AIS sections. Of the special-interest societies for
particular types of irises, only the aril and louisiana groups are not AIS
sections and do not require AIS membership. For more information about iris
