RICK: Thank you for the detailed discussion of FEATURE ATTRACTION.  Perhaps
this was why I was dead set against it.  I am appalled when judges vote for a
gorgeous flower on a very poor plant.  One of my reblooming iris buddies did
so at Omaha.  I asked him when he was here the past two days how this
particular iris had done for him (he did order it); his reply, Not well at
all!  What else???  Now I grant that most of us would buy a spectrum red even
if on a poor plant. But a lavender?  Surely not!  Lloyd Zurbrigg. I hope I do
not sound spiteful, but I have had forty plus years of buying new iris, and I
