Blue iris

Jason Leader in PA recommends BALLERINA BLUE (Innerst, 84). That was my
favorite reverse neglecta. I lost it to Botrytis (see my Intro), replaced
it once (I thought), but it bloomed EVENING ECHO (Hamblen, 77). Such are
the perils of picking up iris at the local club sale table. I'd like to
grow it again, if I could find the genuine article.

The best growing light blue self I've ever had is TIDE'S IN (Schreiners,
83). Other good ones are CHICO MAID (Luihn, 85) and SCANDIA DELIGHT
(Schreiners, 89). If you go in for historics, ELEANOR'S PRIDE (Watkins,
56), the '61 Dykes medal winner, is still a class act.
