Groan. I don't have the energy except during the winter when all the
allergens are more under control - not the best time to be growing bearded
irises! I have about a half acre that would be suitable for irises - there
is more land, but it's next to the main road and far from the house and I
suspect that beeootiful irises would disappear up there for more reasons than
rot. So, Amy, while it is a lot of fun to think about, I will pass up this
'opportunity'. : )
