Jeff asks:
<<1) Is there no proper plural of "Geranium" in BritSpeak?>>
Yes: Geraniums. I must check the grammar on the page then - is there a
mistake?
<<2) I see your postal address is referenced to Bognor Regis.>>
Yes, but we don't like to mention. Bognor is a bit of a "dive" (dull and
boring). We prefer to say that Barnham is midway between Chichester and
Arundel (Chichester is a Roman city with a lovely cathedral, and is the
county town, whilst Arundel has a lovely castle, cathedral and is generally
"upmarket"), but the PostOffice give our posttown as Bognor.
<<You indicate that your peak iris bloom occurs at the end of May and the
beginning of June. What factors would retard the iris bloom season,
relatively speaking?>>
Not sure. Light levels? Soil warmth? Ambient temperature? Remember that we
are just three miles from the sea, so our climate is tempered by the maritime
influence. We get few extremes here (generally - I mustn't tempt fate!) (-;
