Attn: Clarence Mahan in VA - The comment from Graham Spencer that you
quote was in response to an original comment of mine in which I suggested
an approximation between "Oregon" climate and that of England. When someone
in Utah refers to "Oregon" climate, it is a reference to Schreiner's and
Cooley's climate, usually expressed with more than a pinch of envy, and not
the climate east of the Cascades, which is pretty much the same as ours,
and so not worth mentioning as anything distinctive.
