Hi Ellen and all cold gardeners....
sorry, no offence intended with my "maniac" remark...in fact, in some
respects you guys have an advantage, especially for many alpine and rock
garden subjects that don't like longer and warmer growing seasons. We can't
grow good primulas here for love nor money, whereas our Scottish friends can
grow them like weeds. Each garden (climate, soil, aspect, neighbours,
rampaging animals (of all types)) presents its own unique challenges - ENJOY
