Yes, there sections on each type of iris, and a good part of the book
discusses beardless and species.  A nice introduction to the various types of
irises. For many of the lesser known types such as the various medians and
miniature dwarfs, Florence includes a nice selection of recommended cultivars
that have done well for a number of years. This is nice because it guides
beginners to less expensive varieties that are good performers.  Clarence
