On the subject of ELEGANCE, I bow to Anner Whitehead & Jeff Walters. They
seem to be more alert than I am after all the holidays. If you did get the
iris at your local sale, it could be CHAMPAGNE ELEGANCE or another close to
that name. Sometimes at sales, the names get confused. They shouldn't but
they do. If you did get it at a sale, society members should be able to
tell you what they had. Anyway I look forward to seeing your ELEGANCE
bloom. We will know then.
Your comment: "My wife & I have a small yard." All iris growers almost
always start out with a few iris, small space allotted to that. Then the
grass plots seem to shrink and they plant more iris. Some of us have hardly
any grass left at all! But we have lots of irises! And we love them.
