Kathy,
I know that the circumstances are not identical but we had a horrible
freeze that lasted several days this spring. Our bloom was well
advanced and looking to be the best in years. The good news is that
even though we lost all of the bloom that had started the plants
survived. This is not the only time that a freeze has damaged plants
here. One year two new beds were caught and all of the foliage turned
to mush. Once again the plants survived.
IMHO your iris have a good chance of surviving as long as you don't
stress them any further. Leave them in the snow and once it melts off
be sure to water them well.
