Thanks for the run down on the SIGNA seed exchange time table.  I just
looked at my envelope from last year and it was postmarked Jan. 15th.  It
sounds like you are right on the money with the Jan. 16th or so shipping
date.  I ordered a variety of beardless iris seeds this year from the SIGNA
exchange.  I listed many substitutes on my order so as not to be
disappointed.  

The SIGNA seed exchange has got to be one of the best deals going at 0.50
cents per variety of seeds and a chance to explore the variety of the many
species of Iridaceae.  If there's anyone on the list who hasn't tried at
least a couple of the species irises, you don't know what good things you
are missing.
