Re: iris info

Hi
     The only iris I know has shade tolerance is I. foetidissima, which pouts
in too much sunshine even here in Western Washington. The bloom is not really
remarkable unless you look closely, but the seed pods are fabulously flashy.
     In the Boise area where I grew up there were several variety of
especially the darkest TBs which did better in partly shady areas.
