Dear Friends on the List,
We took a delightful tour of Buena Creek Gardens this morning and only got
sprinkled on a couple of times. They have an outstanding collection of
rebloomers and there were at least fifty varieties in bloom. They looked
so unusual covered in rain drops but were strong and straight and in
excellent form.
We bought a Louisiana called Godzilla. Does anyone have any information
on this iris and what it will look like when it blooms for us? This is our
first try growing an LA variety and we want to succeed.
We also bought Neomarica Caerulea and Dietes Vegetes Variegata. We have
the solid fortnight so we were thrilled add the variegated variety. We
didn't even know they came in a variegated form.
We are on our way out to prune trees in the drizzle. So spoiled in
southern Ca. that we hate to go out when it's less than 70 degrees and the
sun isn't shining.
