Hi Nicki
I suspect we live about 20 miles apart, but we had no snow. Probably due
to the proximity of the sound as I'm about 1 1/2 miles from it . Just 2 miles
away in Lakewood I did see some snow, but it was 40f here so no snow.
Went to the Puyallup Home and Garden show yesterday. A new opportunity
for clubs to set up a booth at no cost. PCIS was only notified 2 weeks ago so
we did not have time to get it pulled together. Next year perhaps along with
some people from the KCIS. Next month is the Northwesty Flower and Garden
Show. It is a big show held at the Seattle Convention Place. King County is in
charge but our Pierce County supports it by maning the booth. A great way to
see all kinds of plants, gardening appliances, art, and green. It is well
organized (one of KCIS past presidents is in charge) . Watch for further
information on dates. If your going to be in the Seattle area it is well worth
the time. Ride the bus to save parking problems, and bring a bit of $ for all
the stuff you'l want to buy. Cooley's and Schriener's will be there . If your
just looking for an opportunity to dig out of the winter blaus- this is a
great way to do it! This is not a free booth to the clubs!
I am praying for snow, but up in the mountains is preferred, thank you!
