Hi Jeff,

I don't remember any reference to ODORATISSIMA in the previous threads.
A search of the archives for it yields two seemingly unrelated messages.
A hiccup in the search engine I guess (or some matching criteria I don't
understand.) If you search on the key words "Sweet Lena" you will get 21
hits. You might find some additional information, but Nicki's post was
pretty comprehensive. By selecting anyone the system provides automatic
links to "Next by thread" and "Previous by thread" at the bottom of the
message and you can follow the thread in either direction by clicking on
the pointers.

I guess the only thing I would add to all this is that if anyone orders
Sweet Lena from Mr. Holland, you might want to ask him to ship the rz
with roots and 6" fan attached. When he sent me mine, they were bald on
the bottom and cut back to 1/2" on the fan. I even thought perhaps he
had cut off the growth point (I forget what it is called). Turns out
they grew just fine, a little slower in taking off, but they bloomed in
the spring none the less. It was just a shock to open the package and
see those strange looking rzs...

No, we don't need to get into another discussion of "To shave or not to
shave" the roots. Please... :>))
