thanks to all of you who gave me some great ideas!
the smell based ones sound the easiest/cheapest (i also have a 2.5 yr old
flower loving son, so i have to consider chemicals very carefully). then on
to the commercial varieties.
fencing is not an option, it's in my front yard, 60'x4'. the pine bough
thing sounded good, but we have a fake tree :O
the bamboo skewer idea was really interesting! kitty kabob came to mind....
these cats are actually someone's pets (they're a-wearin' collars!), so why
they're family would let them risk life and limb is beyond me! i've given
them exactly one week to respond to my new stepped up regime (thanks to your
ideas) and then it's the cat police for them. dun da dun dunt :\
