The Bluegrass Iris Society of Lexington, KY uses "candle" bottles that
were used for services in the Catholic Churches. I am sure they would let
someone have them, since they throw them away, or at least that was what I
was told. However, it is difficult to get the residual wax out.
Something else you all may wish to consider would be something like
"Perrier" bottles, if enough of them could be located. If you started
looking for them now, you might succeed. I am not saying to drink that
much Perrier, but, if you put the word out that you were collecting the
bottles and why, friends, co workers, etc. may let you have the bottles
instead of throwing them away.
