It's gone to Colorado, Steve, where it's turned to snow. Since the
opening shot of 4' in late Oct., we've been getting 1', 2', 3' snows
every week at our place. Monday night we got a fresh 18"-20" atop the
accumulation, which is major in north-facing or shaded areas. The bottom
layer of this "snow sandwich" has turned to thick ice -- the Halleck
Glacier, a locally famous phenomenon we've hardly seen anything of since
the mid-80's, is slowly sliding downhill towards the back of our house.
I'd be glad to share this snowy bounty with you or anyone else who would
like it -- just let me know how to send it! I'm getting worn to a nubbin
from shoveling.
