PALTEC, a durable & well-known hybrid between I. tectorum (beardless Evansia)
and Edina, a bearded has the plant characteristics of tectorum but blooms with
the tall beardeds, producing many sleekly smooth and beautifully formed lilac-
blue flosers; it is popular as an accent in the forefront of the late spring
