I know that lately, there has been a list of off-topic messages. I
can understand why some people may be bothered by such, especially after
the long running bad seedling name thread. However, many of us grow
other plants in addition to Irises, and thus hearing some comments about
others, such as the night bloomers. I and several others have an interest
in this, so that is why I asked that this be posted publicly.
If I understood the previous guidelines properly, other plants may
occasionally be discussed, but must be subject tagged as OT: Camellias, or
whatever is in question.
What I am now soliciting is Tom Tadfor Little's say on this. He is an
honest, fair man, so I trust his judgment on this. This list belongs to
him, so really only he has the right to decide what type of subject matter
can go on and what must be excluded concerning this list.
