The bulbous Arabi Pasha is listed only as a synonym for a Spanish Iris
whose correct name is BRONZE KING, so there are not actually two different
irises "registered" as ARABI PASHA. Subsequent to the '39 Checklist it was
decided that the AIS was not responsible for officially registering bulbous
iris cultivars, so it is possible that a rhizomatous iris and a bulbous
iris could both have valid claim to the same name.
