And, for me, if the bloom season is indicated VE or E, I want to avoid it
because of our

Walter,
I think that catalogs should provide this information. Kentucky is
another place where there are often late, devastating freezes. In some
years, the lates don't do well there either because of a sudden onset of
intense (95 F+, or 35 C+) heat.
Daylily Catalogs provide this information, so I see no reason why it
cannot be included in Iris Catalogs.
