OT: HYB: stressful season - seed germination

 Dear List,
The "weird" weather has been great for us here. All this cold that we are
experiencing is bringing things up by the dozens. We have California
poppies and wildflowers that we spread in a rock garden, and they are
bursting up and growing.
Walter was very kind to share some daylily seeds with Steve last year when
he was experiencing postbloom depression and they are making a good
performance. In sprout are CLOSER LOOK , JASPER DEVIL, GOLDEN CANDLES,
MINSTREL BAY, ROSY WREN, HIGH GLEE, AND PRARIE MOONLIGHT. Also our own
BLACK EYED STELLA seeds are making a grand entry.
In the iris field, we have some things getting ready to rebloom. CRIMSON
KING , ANGEL'S BLUSH, and CINDERELLA'S COACH and KISS THE DAWN are all
showing color. Now we need some sun.
It's 50 degrees and cloudy here.
