Evelyn Kegerise, a well-known Pennsylvania hybridizer passed away suddenly,
I
believe on Friday. Services are scheduled for Tuesday in Reading, PA. I'm
sure notes of condolence would be welcome to her equally well-known sister,
 Eleanor.

Oh No!!! Thank you, Harold, for the news. Can you post Eleanor's address?
We took a tour to Evelyn's garden several years ago and learned more in our
short time with her than I had in many, many judges training sessions over the
years. And both Peter and I bought her SHIRLEY M before it was even
introduced.... a stunning flower that comes with a lovely story about her
neighbor and great friend for which she named it.

A lady and a hybridizer with a special eye for only the very best.

A sad time, indeed.
