I too have an interest in spurias. I live in SW Ohio, Zone 5b. I may
suggest to those of you in the eastern half of the US to order from
suppliers who grow in our conditions. Cape Iris Gardens (Dave Niswonger)
offered over 90 spuria varieties in their 1997 catalog. Cape is located in
zone 6, SE Missouri. I have never ordered from there, but will probably try
some spurias this year. In support of the comments that they may be slow to
establish her, the catalog is a bit pricey for some of the spurias. Cape
also offers daylilies, sibs, species, and bearded(Niswonger intros)

Does anyone know of commercial growers who offer spurias in zones 5 and up?
