Hello from Australia,
My technologically minded son has made it possible
for me to participate in your list. I'm fairly new to irises, but have
been gardening for many years, and finally decided to give up trying to
grow a 'lush' garden in a dry climate, with porous soil. I have caught
the iris bug, and grow mainly TB's with lavender, penstemons, and
dianthus as companion plants, against a backdrop of hardy flowering
native and non-native shrubs. I am also growing PCI's from seed provided
by Graeme Grosvener. These do well here so far. I also have a few Sibs,
and species plants.
I have been reading the archives for some time, with much
interest, and particularly enjoyed the reprinted Hybridiser articles,
