Re: Iris "Dragonfly"


The iris in the Van Bourgondien catalog offerred as "Dragonfly" is without
a doubt Iris tectorum.  Look closely to see the white crest on the blue
falls.  The height as pictured and the foliage are also right for tectorum.

Doesn't look anything like a siberian or Iris milesii!

Also note that later in the catalog "tectorum variegatum" is offered but
the picture is of Iris japonica variegata.
