RE: Weather

Thank you to Barbara and others who have commiserated with us. I offer
some hope to Ellen. The ice storm began when we had about three feet of
snow cover on our iris beds. After five days, all the snow had melted
about one foot out from one side of the house. The iris beds were
covered with less than a foot of snow. Since the end of the ice storms,
another foot of snow has been added to the beds. Hopefully they will
remain covered for the remainder of the winter.

But as I reported in earlier posts, there are a number of TBs that do
survive a number of freeze-thaw cycles.
