I doubt there's anthing that can be done. Anyway, "Dragonfly" is not
really mislabelled, they just don't tell you that it's tectorum! For all I
know, this may be a name in currency in Holland or elsewhere for a
selection from the species.
But if they really are supplying japonica as tectorum, there's a problem.
The two differ in hardiness, with tectorum surviving into Z6 and japonica
reliable really only as far north as Z8 (though it does struggle along in
Z7b). People could be seriously misled if they look up cultural
information on tectorum when what they really have is japonica.
It's just something we have to put up with. But I think that people who
get interested in irises rather quickly sort it out after a few
disappointments.
