I have to take slight issue with John. I wouldn't order anything from VB
that I could tell was mislabelled from their catalog, but I do order from
them regularly, twice a year, and have been doing so for more than a
decade. In all that time, I've only gotten one mislabelled plant: 'Fuschia
magellanica' turned out to be an ordinary garden fuschia. They cheerfully
refunded. In this case the catalog picture was of magellanica, but the
plants weren't. Evidently this is a hazard when foriegn companies import
en masse from Holland, where some growers are not very scrupulous about
what they send out.

But as for Michigan Bulb Company...well, we've been through all that. They
are the nadir of the bulb business!

I also forgot to add that VB no longer pictures a regeliocyclus hybrid as a
Spanish iris, perhaps in response to letters from iris folk.
