Sorta. There is apparently a germ of truth in it, but it is indeed one of
those things that is now circulating the internet with a life of its own.
Best to ignore it. I encourage Iris-L subscribers to NOT forward any of
these "important notices", virus warnings, chain letters, etc., that
circulate on the net to Iris-L. Most are not legitimate; the few that are
legitimate still do not belong here. They serve neither our primary purpose
(discussing irises) or our secondary purpose (getting acquainted with each
other).
