Dear Mark: Two trees in the N.C. Arboretum are in full bloom, malus,
(flowering crabapple,) I should think. I BLESS is in bloom, and has been
all month. Doubt there will be much left come spring. FEBRUARY GOLD, the
early daffodil, has stalks and buds in one garden. All of this is much too
early, including a flock of robins. I fear there will be a big freeze
soon!!! Lloyd Zurbriig in Durham NC
