On christmas day I had a Mountain violet blossom in the house from my
garden. We had night time temperatures in the teen's and I had to pick it
early but it held.
The "Red Hot Pokers" keep on blooming even after a week of those temps.
They started to send up new stalks which are now blooming even thow we
have had frost everyday this week.
The dutch iris are up about 6" and seem to be doing fine.
The fruit trees in town are blooming and the iris are putting out new
fans.
I'v received 5 flower catalogs this week (no iris catalogs yet) and I
think I got the gopher!!!!
