A while back somebody mentioned Capability's Books as a possible source for
an iris book. I thought you all might be interested in knowing that
Capability's is no longer in business, in part, I understand, because they
couldn't compete successfully with on-line book sales. I feel sad that many
small book dealers are suffering similar fates at the hand of a
technological advance that has brought me so much pleasure.
Merrily in DC, where I almost drove into a fire hydrant yesterday my eye
caught a REDBUD in bloom.
