IRIS
Everyone knows the Iris--
Admires her stately grace--
Her quiet well-bred manner,
Still there always is a trace
Of something strange--exotic--
In her beauty. She repays
All the care we lavish on her
In a thousand charming ways--
Yet sje see,s tp lmpw is better
Than we know her--all the while--
She acknowledges our homage
With a Mona Lisa smile.
