Not to worry! Of all the years i've ordered iris from all parts of the
country, I never checked for borers. Still don't have any. I think
that they just cannot make it in our semi-arid climate. I'm sure that
some have probably come in at one time or another, but they probably
need a climate that has more moisture and humidity, especially during
the summer.
